Preesley SMILES :)

I finally captured Preesley's smile on camera! She has been doing it for a few days now, but I never have gotten it on camera. But today was my lucky day!!! She is a sweety, she mostly smiles at me in the early a.m. hours, I guess it is my little reward for getting up to feed her.

In other News....

Buck had an antelope hunt in New Mexico this weekend. So he and Paige and Pops left on Wednesday to go scouting and then to hunt opening day. Paige has been really excited about this hunt, and she even got her first set of camo for the hunt. We call her Poco when she wears it. Anyway, Buck got permission from her teacher to pull her out for a few days and they left. They scouted Thursday and Friday, and saw tons of antelope, like 50-60 bucks. They were all excited for opening morning. On Saturday morning they got up at 3:30am and went to find the buck they had seen the night before. Well at about 7:30am Buck calls me and asks me "how do like your antelope steaks cooked." That was just his way of telling me he had killed one, because he knows there is no way I'm eating that stuff. So here are the pics! I'll have to get back to everyone on the details, but I do know it made the Boone and Crocket record book. Buck is so happy, my husband, not the dead antelope!!! SORRY TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HUNTING AND THINKS IT IS SAD, ( I actually do too, but I've come to terms with it) ha.

The BIGGEST, Prettiest Flower I ever grew!

Buck got me some Dahlia bulbs to plant this year, and now they are starting to bloom. I just had to post a picture of this one, so far, none have been bigger than this one. I just love it! Its hard to tell from the picture but it is about as big in diameter as a volleyball.(Impressive, right?) Thanks Bucky!!!

First Day of School

Here is everyone on the first day of school. Ally didn't start of course, but she really wanted her picture taken. Everyone loves their teachers, and Marley wants homework everyday! (notice the scissors in her little pocket on her shirt)

Paige's Surprise Party

On Saturday we had a surprise party for Paige. It was sort of last minute, her birthday is on August 5th which is the day before school starts, so I thougth it would be funner if we did it ahead of time. She didn't have a clue. We had it outside, and invited her cousins that were in town. I wish the whole family could have been there, the weather was perfect! We had hamburgers and hot dogs. Then Paige decided this year she wanted donuts instead of cake. So we made donuts and let everyone decorate them themselves. It was a hit! Paige got an Ipod shuffle for her birthday and it hasn't quit playing. Sounds like a teenager is in the house! Marley loves jammin out to it too! I am surprised at how well they know some of the songs! A little scary. Anyway it was a fun night. HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY PAIGE! We love you.

Preesley is 1!
